Virtual machine takes too long to start

Hello everybody.

I have a Proxmox cluster with 3 nodes. In one of them ( with 8GB RAM, and CPU Intel Xeon E3 6 cores ) there are 6 virtual machines. When I start a virtual machine with Centos 6.2, 4 CPU and 4GB RAM, the virtual machine takes too long to start. In the proxmox web interface I can see that the used RAM is only 15 MB, and increases very slowly. Finally, after 10 minutes, the virtual machine starts, and the used RAM is now 400 MB.

Somebody knows why takes too long to start?

VT enabled?

only on 1 server ?

can you try with less cpu in your guest ?

some bios tunning (test one by one): disable c1e, set server to max performance, disable hyperthreading.

tell me if it's improve or not.
