Virtual Disk Vanished Following Snapshot Restore

Howdy folks,

This is less of a support request, and more of a heads-up that this can happen. I've accepted my data is gone and I am now restoring a backup.

I had a basic test VM based on Win11 (Legacy BIOS boot) that I was working on. Single VirtIO SCSI boot disk. I made some changes and then decided to restore a snapshot that I had made a few days earlier. I successfully restored a snapshot a couple of days ago, so figured this would go smooth today. However when restoring this same snapshot today (the VM was shut down on both occasions), my Proxmox host just seemed to get stuck in a perpetual "Rollback" mode for this particular VM.

I left it for several hours (last restore only took a minute) and it was still stuck. I then figured that perhaps the host needs a reboot, but my host gets stuck here too, and I can't log in via SSH anymore. I eventually have to force off my Proxmox host.

Upon booting up, the VM is still locked. I unlock the VM, and attempt to run the rollback again - but I get an error message "TASK ERROR: no such logical volume (storage/vm-disk-id)"

The disk is missing when I go to my storage device (local Samsung SSD, LVM-Thin). My host is running on Proxmox 7.1-10. Linux 5.13.19-4-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.13.19-9

I'm restoring a backup now, but just wanted to put it out there that this happened to me, just in case it happens to someone else.
