VirtIO dropping packets but e1000e works fine

I was warned by cPanel support that my cPanle VM was dropping packets.

I did some testing and setup the VM with the Intel e1000e network which did not show any errors

Proxmox 9.2.9
VM setup as SeaBIOS
Machine i440fx
SCSI SCSI VirtIO SCSI Single

Using VirtIO driver

I am using 10GB networking, will using the e1000e have a performance impact ? its Sunday and the server is not under load at the moment.
Is there a fix for the VirtIO driver.
