Hi,

like many of you, I use virt-viewer to open and work with ct's/vms in Proxmox.

My question:
is there any development (new release) on this tool ?
The most recent one is v11.0 from nov 18 2021....

More precisely for using VNS and SPICE with QEMU/KVM and not limited to PVE.

There isn't much going on in the source repository, are you missing features? Up to now, everything that should work, is working, isn't it?

I can imagine that certain improvements are added, for video display, drivers, etc.
I'm not missing features, just wondering why there is no update after 2021.
And are there any alternatives for virt-viewer ?

Video playback tears horrible (and horizontally?!) with virGLbut works fine with qxl/SPICE. Linux Mint/Ubuntu comes with version 7.0. Would be nice if remote-viewer could run in a border-less window and/or not show the menu bar (like the kiosk mode except working normally). I guess I could compile my own version...

What is the specific content of the vm you want to control?

So looks like developement it's basically dead.

Well....like the desktop for example? Can be Windows or Linux.
