Very slow restoring

Hi

After I found MY VM destroyed I have restored it from NFS server but it took 6 hours Which is too long despite the speed between servers 1GBps

The Size of The VM 600 GB .

why restoring is very slow it most finish in 1 hour

NFS is not the fastest of fast, and I don't guess you are using PBS (ProxMox Backup server) on NFS, or you? if so then you are totally using the wrong setup.

If you are using ProxMox with NFS as storage that you did the vzdump to: Well, *my* experience in a big cloud provider's NFS backup solution, is that the NFS is slow -> period, and the reason I've now in the past month moved all my backups from NFS to single server PBS solutions.

- and even then, make sure you have either fast SSDs/NVMes, or a nice wide striped well cached with enough RAM HDD storage, and also check the OUTBOUND bandwidth allowed from that server (I know the servers I ordered only has 500Mbps outbound, so that would limit my restoration times.)
