Very slow restore

Hello,

I'm restoring a VM from a Hetzner storage box which is mounted as SMB share.
This storage box is not slow at all. I have used it in the past to restore Esxi VMs and it was very fast.

But the restore is VERY slow on Proxmox.
This is a 500GB VM, and it has been two hours and it's still at 2%. At this rate it will take days.

Is this common with Proxmox?

The local drives are NVMe.

No. Not under "normal" conditions.

Except for one construct: using PBS and a datastore with high latency. So... are you using PBS? What gives pveperf /your/mounted/data/store? (Please use [code]...[/code]-Tags.)
