Hi,

I run into problèmes when I clone a VM into the file-system of my HP Proliant Server.
It took a very long time (about 48 mn)

The transfert rapidely goes to 100% (took about 4 mn), then nothing happens during a very long time.

During this time, Proxmox even stops displaying "utilisation CPU" and so on.

Ex: The cloning of a VM of 32Go from a HDD-Usb to the file-system Raid0 of the hôte is during 48 minutes.
I think it's very slow.

Alternatively, the reversely cloning of the same VM (from file-system Raid0 of the hôte to the HDD-Usb) is during 43 seconds.
It's good.

I don't understand this great difference!

During cloning:
  • CPU Usage: about 0.10%
  • IO Delay: 3.20 %
  • Load average: about 2.00
  • RAM usage: about 3.5%

File-system:
- RAID0 with 7 disques SAS 2.5'' 10krpm, 660 Go (NETAPP X422A-R5)
- controleur RAID: P420i, with no "RAM module"
- Server HP Proliant DL360P G8 ( https://www.serveur-occasion.com/fr...-x-xeon-eight-core-e5-2650-64-go-rack-1u.html )
CPU(s)

32 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 0 @ 2.00GHz (2 Sockets)
Kernel Version

Would you like some others informations to help me ?

Best regards,

Je pense qu'il faut changer de serveur, j'ai eu pratiquement le même problème. Si vous voulez vraiment changer de serveur, je vous conseille LINK REMOVED.
