Very rookie question about VM templates; networking/IP address

I love Proxmox and what it allows me to do - I always need an Ubuntu 22.04 server, so I installed one with a generic 'ubuntuserver' hostname. Ok, great... I can clone it and spin up an up to date Ubuntu 22.04 server and have a good starting spot when I need a new VM.

However, I've found that I get the same local IP for these clones - I know how to change the hostname, and make IT unique, but how can I make it so that cloned VMs have a different local IP and don't interfere with other VMs cloned from the same template?

I know this is a rookie question, and appreciate any suggestions. :p

Thank you for the reply - I thought the issue was with something I was fudging inside of PVE. I'll dig around and see how to setup Ubuntu to be more friendly.
