Hello,

I am going to setup a PVE system based on Tyan 5397 and Adaptec 51645 or 31605 and ~5 TB of SATA disks in a RAID 50.

For some KVM based VM's (Windows + Linux) I will need filesystems that exceed 200GB.

I fear that having image files of this size will become too slow and it won't be flexible enough to in-/decrease the size of these volumes.

Are you going to support the virtio fs drivers so I can at least use virtio for the Linux based KVM guests ?

Or would it be better to have a special OVZ VM that exports FS space thru NFS and/or Samba ?

Many thanks.

beta 2 supports virtio (release is this week)

Dont know, that depend on how you plan to use it.
