Hey, ive the latest Proxmox no-sub install - with a Host, thats have an HDD and a SSD in it. Proxmox is running on the HDD, VMs and CTs on the SSD. I have no load at that system atm.

So now i installed a WIn11 VM - but i got a loooooong beard, as i installed it - and after that - use it.

Im connecting over RDP to that Win11 Install - but its sooooo sluggish as hell.

The biggest problem is the SSD performance. i can only read / write around 12MB/s.

Whats the problem here?

Hey

Yeah, i installed the virtio drivers. the proxmox install is on a HDD and the VM on a SSD - on the same host ^^

I saw, that my ssd on my win11 install was a 100%, copying files, only with 12Mb/s. i tried crystal diskmark to check the speed then - and it was around 12MB/s. My SSD is a NVME, and can deliver much more Gigabytes / s - as only 12MB/S.

There is no other VM on that disk.
