Veritas NetBackup integration — current support status and future plans

We are review Proxmox VE for an enterprise HCI deployment. Some of our customers already run a Veritas (now Cohesity) NetBackup backup infrastructure, so I'd like to ask the following:

1. Does Proxmox VE currently provide any official integration or API that would allow Veritas NetBackup to perform hypervisor-level, agentless VM backups — i.e., native integration comparable to what NetBackup offers for VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix AHV, rather than the in-guest agent approach?
2. Are there any roadmap items or plans to officially support or certify NetBackup integration in the future?
3. Can NetBackup make use of the same Backup Provider API that third-party vendors such as Veeam use to integrate with Proxmox VE?
