verify status shows duration time from start time to current time, not the verify ending time.

After running a a verfiy of existing backups, (no errors) I look at the log and click on status, the start time agrees with what I setup but the duration time is the difference between the start time and the actual current clock time. Not the actual run time. IE The actual run time (taken from the log beginning time stamp and the ending time stamp) is 1.37 hours, but the status display shows a duration of about 7.5 hours and is the actual t ime from the beginning of the verify to the "current" clock time.
If I check a few hours later, the duration time has increased.

A picture of the task status and the task log's contents in a code block would be interesting to see.

screen shots of log and status of verify.
2 status screen shots a few minutes apart.

This seems to be similar to this: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6307
I don't have that issue myself on 3.4.1, however. What's your version?
Also PBS is 3.4.1. Both the prune job and GC jobs logs report the correct duration time. Also the job listing does show the correct duration time. It's the "show log display" that is incorrect and is using the current time to calculate and post the duration time.

Yeah sorry. I can reproduce it with the Show Log button on the datastore's Verify Jobs tab. Maybe I should have properly remembered what I linked
Unrelated but quoting the whole previous message isn't necessary. It's just visual noise.
