SInce a day, prune and verification jobs are failing because of one old snapshot giving the following error:

2021-02-12T10:00:00+01:00: TASK ERROR: removing backup snapshot "/mnt/xxxx/vm/320/2021-01-17T09:02:39Z" failed - No such file or directory (os error 2)

Verify results in this:

2021-02-12T12:00:48+01:00: Failed to verify the following snapshots/groups:
2021-02-12T12:00:48+01:00: vm/320/2021-01-17T09:02:39Z
2021-02-12T12:00:48+01:00: TASK ERROR: verification failed - please check the log for details

It doesn't say which log. There's a loading animation next to that snapshot, and manually removing it by clicking on the 'bin' icon gives the same error.

How can I remove that snapshot?

the log is the thing containing that error/warning summary at the end.

you can remove the directory manually in the shell, but before you do that it might be interesting to see what it contains (ls -lhRa /mnt/...) and if possible check the corresponding client and server task logs for when that snapshot was made/attempted.

It seems this was an issue with the cifs mount. I'm not sure how or why, but I was able to remove the file and snapshot directory on the machine where the actual partition was mounted. I then unmounted it and did an xfs_repair just to be sure.
