I have just installed proxmox8.0-2 on a N100 based Chuwi LarkBox machine (12gb ram, 512GB SSD). After copying the ISO to USB using Rufus, it installed.
After rebooting, it complained it could not start WIFI nor Bluetooth, neither could it find a frame buffer, so was starting blind. A don't thin either is a problem.
Finally the boot ended telling me to go to http://192.168.1.252:8006/ with my browser.
I did so and the request timed out!!??
I can ping 192.168.1.252, without problem so it isn't networking.
I can log is as root - but don't have the skills to test further.

How can I proceed to discover the problem?
Thanks
Ian

Hi Dietmar.
You are 100% correct, but it doesn't make any difference. The request still times out.
Swapped to a new browser (Chrome, from Brave) and the same thing happens.
Regards
Ian

Can you login to the Proxmox console (using a physical keyboard and display)? What are the outputs of cat /etc/network/interfaces and ip a?

Hi leesteken,
Sorry I can't now. I tried to install Proxmox 7.4, but that failed to install, so I have installed Debian 12, and can move forward with VBox or LXD/LXC.
