VE Enterprise Repository - how "much" tested is it, how much jumps minor-to-minor?

I am aware of the docs [1] which state that:
- the Enterprise repo "contains the most stable packages and is suitable for production use"
- the No-Subscription repo contains packages that "are not as heavily tested and validated"
- the Test repo has "latest packages and is primarily used by developers to test new features"

How much behind is the Enterprise repo, how much testing / validation does it get? I do not seem to find docs on any lifecycle in relation to the Enterprise repo, with No-Subscription sometimes the changes appear massive (in terms of risk management) from minor to minor iteration, e.g. SDN seems to have been around for 4 years before it suddenly pops up in PVE 8, but then in 8.1 it is in by default. Was this the same for the Enterprise repo, i.e. suddenly getting SDN between 8 and 8.1?

Note I do not wish to discuss the SDN topic per se, just how are these decisions taken for Enterprise repo as opposed to No-Subscription or is it the same, just trailing some months behind?
