Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P330 Tiny, latest BIOS 03/24/2023

-i7-8700T
-64GB RAM
-2x 500GB matched NVMe drives

Installation proceeds normally, when I get to the disk selection, I changed from ext4 to ZFS RAID1, it sees both drives, creates the volume for installation and everything else proceeds as normal. When the machine reboots, all I get is a flashing cursor in the upper left hand corner.

The drives are seen by the machine as Legacy selecting boot options via F12 upon restart. Try both drives same effect. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hmm - a few options:
* try running the 8.0 installer in debug mode - and check if you see any errors in the consoles
* try installing the 7.4 iso and then upgrade the system to 8.0:

* finally try install plain Debian Bookworm and then install proxmox-ve on top

Let us know how it works out for you
Thanks!

Well,

DL'd the -2 release dsame results, no errors in debug mode logs
grabbed 7.4 did the same thing just no luck with ext4 on a single drive nor ZFS RAID1 on both, all I get is a flashing cursor at the top left of the screen on subsequent boots.

hmm - does installing plain debian work on the machine?

Figured it out sry noob here, I misunderstood the documentation and had the system set 'Legacy' rather than UEFI.
