v8.1 update not reflected in UI

Just did an update via the GUI (from 8.0) and expected to see 8.1 in the dashboard and the new Match if for rules, but this isn't the case. Version on dashboard shows 8.0.11 and no Match if in the Rules page.

Is there some other step required to be performed?

For what it's worth, I've just upgraded from 8.0.11 to 8.1.2 (GUI reflected version, PMG is 8.1.0) - and both hosts report OK!

pmg-api (8.1.2) over (8.0.11) ...
proxmox-mailgateway (8.1.0) over (8.0.1)...

After coming back to this after a few hours, the dashboard now shows 8.1.2 and the Match if is also visible in the Rules, so looks like there was some background processing still taking place.
 
Your browser cache being stale/irrelevant sounds most likely.

Odds are the content was expired by the time you revisited, so was re-fetched properly. Just a guess.
