Using other services of the host

Hello,
i'm testing the 2.0 beta and must say first : it's a great soft! Very good !
The Question I have : Is the underlying debian 6.0 squeeze pve Version compatible to the standart debian 6 ?
The Reason : I will actual not use the clustering services but I need to install APCUPSD for UPS Services, bind and samba Services.
May I have any conflicts with pve images.

the proxmox host should run very few services.

Put samba into a container , we do that and found we had use bridged networking. just download the debian squeeze template , create a new container, then install samba and swat .

I'd run ups monitor on the host.
