Hallo,

I am new to Proxmox and I would like to know how to use NAT in this environment.

That is my network configuration:

Public-IP (outside Router) 217.x.y.z
Router-IP 192.168.1.1
Proxmox Host-IP 192.168.1.27
openVZ-Container-IP 192.168.1.40

There ist a tomcat-applicationserver with port 8080 running on the openVZ-Container.

My question: How can I access the tomcat-applicationserver from the internet using port 80 ?
Can you give me the configuration in /etc/network/interfaces on the Proxmox Host?

Thank You

Reinhard

If your configuration is bridged, it's in the configuration of your router (192.168.1.1) that you must add a NAT rule.
