Hi,

First I would like to clarify one thing. the creation of a new user doesn't create a new user in the debian system first with useradd right? because the creation of a user in the gui is something totally different?

Second what's the key IDs for a user in linux pam in the GUI? ssh keys? because it clearly doesn't work, since it doesn't read or write anything in the home of the user...

yes

The ID is "<username>@pam". We just use the PAM account to verify the password.

sorry i didn't understand the last part, certainly because I can't put any sense in this... I was talking about the last part of the window of a user in the GUI which the name is Key IDs ... for example for the yubico realm it's the 7 first signs of each yubico key that you want to assign separated by a space.
