I need some help enabling my root superuser account after disabling it in the GUI. I was trying to add a superuser in the proxmox GUI however I disabled my root account by accident now I can't get back in to access my full system. I did create another user but it doesn't have all the privileges as root. I have added the administration role to my user however I still can't access the entire system. However I can still SSH in a root so I need some help to enable root or add my new user as a superuser either one is ok with me. I did read http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/User_Management as well but I still don't have full access with an administrator role.

when you can connect via ssh as root you can then use the pveum command line tool
to enable the root@pam user use:
Code:
pveum usermod root@pam -enable 1
