[SOLVED] Use of uninitialized value $PVE::JSONSchema::PVE_TAG_RE in concatenation

Hello,
I just updated to 7.3.1 from 7.2 and I have this error whenever I run any PVE related command :

You probably have the same issue as this thread. How did you upgrade and did you get any errors during the upgrade?

Have been through that version.
So, I just simple, apt update and apt upgrade and then this error.

Since you asked, how upgraded, I also ran "apt dist-upgrade" and it seems to have resolved the issue.

apt upgrade is not good for Proxmox. You need to use apt dist-upgrade, as shown in the manual: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#_system_software_updates

ugh accidentally upgraded the PvE instead of the container and now having these issues

For me, using `apt dist-upgrade` resovled the issue.

I upgraded my Proxmox VE operating system from version 6 to version 7, but I cannot access the web console.

When I try to install the proxmox-ve package, it says it is already installed but broken. Here are the unmet dependencies:
