Use Disk Image (qcow2)

Hello,

I made a backup of my whole proxmox data yesterday and reinstalled the server. I have all VMs as a "qcow2" file and I already put them into /images

Now they are displayed in the "Disk Image" menu. How can I make new VMs of them?

Solved. I just created a new VM and changed file name in /images

It would have been a lot easier to simply make a backup using proxmox backup utility and then simply restore, again using proxmox tools, from this backup. Then everything would have been done for you automatically without the need for fiddling on the command line.
