Added a Samsung T7 Shield 2TB drive to proxmox and i can see it on node Disks in webgui but i cant see its smart values like the nvme drive.
It does show the model and serial but for smart it says "Error getting S.M.A.R.T. data: Exit code: 1 (500)" and for wearout "N/A"

Using "smartctl /dev/sda" shows me this

"/dev/sda: Unknown USB bridge [0x04e8:0x61fb (0x100)]
Please specify device type with the -d option."

I dont know what to specify it as tho.

I'm new to linux/proxmox any help appreciated.

you can try adding option -d scsi

btw, smart over usb works on Windows bare metal.
i'll try on a pve tomorrow.

With "-d scsi" it shows this, tempartures are at 0. Still wont show the info fully like the webgui for nvme (Picture 2)
