I'm trying to setup an Asterisk 1.6 PBX in a Centos KVM.

I've plugged the USB-FXO U100 into the proxmox server:

Bus 003 Device 003: ID 10c4:8461 Cygnal Integrated Products, Inc.

And have the "hostusb: 10c4:8461" entry in the qemu config file.

in the KVM, I can see the USB device, however when I try to start wanrouter it fails.

# wanrouter start

Starting up device: wanpipe1

wanconfig: WAN device wanpipe1 driver load failed !!
: ioctl(wanpipe1,ROUTER_SETUP) failed:
: 22 - Invalid argument

Wanpipe driver did not load properly
Please check /var/log/wanrouter and
/var/log/messages for errors

Configuring interfaces: w1g1 w1g1: unknown interface: No such device

seems like Proxmox is not routing all the USB stuff quite right...

I would like to know if you have been able to make Sangoma U100 work into a VM? ?? I'm trying the same here with the exact same error ?? Thanx!

nope never got this working! :(

Ended up using the grandstream GXW boxes to handling the PSTN lines.
