Hi everyone,
I have Proxmox 5.3-8 and I want to share an usb smartcard reader from my desktop computer to a virtual machine in proxmox.

I have a new VM in proxmox with SPICE graphic adapter activated and a usb SPICE port added.
I have virt-viewer 7.0 and UsbDk_1.0.19_x64.msi installed in my windows 10 64bit desktop computer.
I can connect with my VM with SPICE virt-viewer BUT the menu option to select USB device is disabled I cant use it.

If I do:

C:\Program Files\UsbDk Runtime Library>UsbDkController.exe -n
Enumerate USB devices
Enumeration failed

C:\Program Files\UsbDk Runtime Library>UsbDkController.exe -i
Installing UsbDk driver
UsbDk driver installation failed

C:\Program Files\UsbDk Runtime Library>UsbDkController.exe -u
Uninstalling UsbDk driver
UsbDk driver uninstall failed

I tried to reinstall the USBDk with /log parameter, In the log file there isn't any error message the installation went fine but I cannot get other results

Can Anyone help me? sorry for my poor english.

Thanks

This feature is only on linuxclients available. You can use Ubuntu or KDE Neon for example.
