Usb backup

Somehow I have messed up my proxmox installation and need to backup a vm to usb without having access to the gui.



Can someone help me with the Commands to use through the host to back this up so I can do a clean install and then put the vm back on??

Yes, you can modify the /etc/vzdump.conf file in your Proxmox VE and edit the dumpdir: line and point where your USB path located. Finally, do a backup using vzdump e.g., vzdump 104
