I have Proxmox on Zotac PiniPC (intel) and Windows 10 installed. I have added USB 3.1 extension with a few usb 3 ports, card reader and HDMI port. I created usb passthrough and I can use USB ports with windows, but I can not get picture through hdmi port. How should I enable this? I need it to see my windows screen on TV.

my guess is that it uses (hdmi to) displayport over usb-c? or is it visible as separate video device? in either case you have to pass through the video device to the vm to be able to use the video out

Actually I do not know. If I go to Proxmox / VM / Add: PCi device I do not see it as video device. I can see it only when I go to Add: USB devices

the it probably simply connects to your integrated video card, which would have to be passed through so it can work?

The main issue is that I can not make work integrated gpu (and I have read on several forums that there are issues if the pc has only one gpu) so this was the core reason to buy usb-c 3.1 extension

yes but if that usb extension does not provide its own graphics hardware you cannot use it that way
