Urgent Support Request - 3CX Template Connectivity Issue

Hello Proxmox Community,

We recently added a 3CX template to our Proxmox platform, and we are encountering a critical issue. Every day, VMs deployed from this template experience a "connection refused" error the following day. This issue appears to coincide with our daily backups, as we utilize PBS for our backup processes.

We suspect that there might be compatibility issues between Proxmox and 3CX causing this problem.

Your assistance and guidance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Any insights, troubleshooting steps, or suggestions on how to address compatibility concerns between Proxmox and 3CX would be invaluable to us.

Hi Geffin. I think its important to reiterate that if you have critical infrastructure which, when down, affects your business - you should have a support contract/subscription with all parties involved. This is a volunteer forum, with PVE developers involved on a "time permitting" basis.

That said, you have not provided sufficient information to point you to any specific direction.
What does "connection refused" relate to? SSH, Web, Proprietary protocol?
How do you resolve it after the failure?
What have you done to troubleshoot it?
If the backup process may be involved, have you tried not backing it up? Moved the backup window to see if the problem follows?
Have you examined any logs on whatever OS 3CX is running, the status of the OS, etc?
Did you open a case with 3CX, and if you did - what did they say?

If it is indeed backup related, at the very least please describe what backup method you are using , PVE and PBS versions, VM configuration, etc.

Thank you for getting back to me. I've resolved the issue by upgrading the 3CX template to version 20. Thank you once again for your assistance.
