UPS setup help

Hey all, I'm new to proxmox. I have it setup and running on a dell r610. I just picked up a APC UPS BG1500G. Just wondering what I need to configure the UPS to work correctly with Proxmox.

I'm new to proxmox, but I'm a fairly capable linux user. A decent guide or some general directions should get me by.
