We have a current production Request Tracker system in place for internal and client support. The [RT] version we're using is 3.8.1 on a Lenny appliance. It was installed several months ago and customized extensively.
My question is, how do we upgrade(?) to the newest version (Squeeze and 3.8.7-1)? The appliance doesn't seem to use the standard (manual) RT build/paths so upgrading directly using an RT package doesn't seem viable.
Any insight as to how to migrate our system would be helpful. I guess it goes without saying we would prefer not to start from scratch ... I'm sure someone has had to do this. Appreciate any assistance.
