You would need 2 SSD for redundancy, the do not need to be especially big, it is just read / write cache.

I already purchased two NvME SSD disks 120G each, but how would I connect them as redundant? If I am not misunderstanding you this would be where PVE gets installed, right?

Bump....Planning on upgrading my 1TB ZFS to a new 2TB zfs.....can I just "zfs send" everything to the new drive?
My nuc can only take 1 ssd so I need to check I have an external case or if I need to buy one.
