Hi All,

I am relatively new to Proxmox and need to upgrade our systems.
We have older software versions running from around 6.1.3.
We would like to upgrade to version 7.
I have found this link that explains how to upgrade from 6.4 to 7, but do I need to first upgrade to 6.4?
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_6.x_to_7.0
If I do, what are the steps to upgrade from a 6.1.3 to 6.4? I have seen a few videos online but want to see if there is a proper process to follow?

Thank you for the help.

Proxmox VE is based on Debian - so within one major version upgrading is done by running:
Code:
apt update
apt full-upgrade

Always make sure to have working and tested backups before starting an upgrade!

It also makes sense to read through the release notes of the versions between 6.1 and 6.4:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Roadmap

I hope this helps!
