Hi guys,

So I made mistake and tried to upgrade my 'no subscription' installation via "apt update && apt upgrade" instead of "apt update && apt dist-upgrade". When I now try to do it the right way, I get notified about removing proxmox-ve, pve-container and so on.

The installation was performed via an ISO file with the 7.2 release.

Can anybody point me in the right direction of resolving this mistake?

Code:
Content of sources.list

# deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian bullseye main contrib

# deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian bullseye-updates main contrib

# PVE pve-no-subscription repository provided by proxmox.com,
# NOT recommended for production use
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve bullseye pve-no-subscription

# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org bullseye-security main contrib

Uncomment those two lines and try apt update and afterwards apt full-upgrade again.

If you still get errors, post again the full output each of:
  • apt list --installed | grep linux-image
  • grep -r '' /etc/apt/sources.list*
  • apt update
  • apt full-upgrade
