upgrade ceph a minor version

My env: pve:8.1.3 ceph:18.2.1

I have added a new node to my ceph server. When I install ceph from GUI, it installed 18.2.4 and now I see a warning in the GUI
it requests me to upgrade existig nodes to 18.2.4 and restart all OSDs..

how can I upgrade ceph from 18.2.1 -> 18.2.4. this is required for existing cluster members to be the same version with the newly added one!

new node's ceph version: 18.2.4
existing node' version: 18.2.1

I do not want to update the complete PVE but only ceph.

All nodes in the Proxmox cluster should run the same versions of the software.

How can I achieve this in my cluster?

I only want to upgarde ceph component of the cluster for 2 xisting nodes.
or should I directly use (which upgrade the whole culster, every component to the latest I think. By the way, I do not have an enterprise sub)

apt-get update
apt-get dit-upgrade


and what happens I only enable ceph repo and disable proxmox one, does that work?

would you mind explaining _why_ you only want to upgrade only Ceph, and not everything else too? That sounds just like a hack.

Let me explain my story shortly. I lost one of my cluster and ceph nodes. I rebuild the node and added to ceph/cluster. But when I install ceph on this new node, it selected 18.2.4 automatically while my old nodes were in 18.2.1. Now my ceph cluster complains about this version difference. this is the only problem I have now and this is why I want to upgrade ceph only..

for this case, do you recommend me to update whole cluster?

my Environment is:
PVE 8.1.3
Ceph 18.2.1 and 18.2.4
