How can I upload my v7 config to a "blank" v8 server ?

I'm talking about the mail gateway not the VM server.
I know how to export the config.
But how can import it to the new installation.
Restore is greyed out.
Need to upload the config.
Probably I'm asking a stupid question but I really can't find a way to do that.

sorry, haven't seen the category... Yes, of course that is possible. You have to to copy you export to your new server in the directory:/var/lib/pmg/backup/.After this your backup is available in the webinterface for import.
