Updates through another interface

Hi

I have a proxmox test server with two nics. One nic for management is tied to local network with no internet access. We have separate network with internet access and I tied it to second bridge. Is it possible to update proxmox through GUI/CLI via the interface tied to the network with internet access? Any help is appreciated.

which interface is used for the updates depends on the default route(Gateway).

Thank you wolfgang. i was able to add USB NIC dedicated to updates. Just disabling gateway on the main for the time to do an update works well for us. Thanks again for your help!
