Any hints?

OK,

Code:
nwivz:/etc/vz/conf# apt-cache search pve
libnews-article-perl - Perl modules for manipulating Usenet articles
pve-firmware - Binary firmware code for the pve-kernel
pve-kernel-2.6.24-7-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Image
pve-kvm - Full virtualization on x86 hardware
pve-kernel - The Proxmox VE Kernel Image
pve-manager - The Proxmox Virtul Environment
That seems to be MY version ..
and it doesn't explain the error message
"Couldn't find any package whose name or description matched "proxmox-ve-2.6.32"

I copied the update statement below from the update instructions ...

Hi,
right, thats don't explain the error-messages. But why you have only few packets show with "apt-cache search pve"?
My output:
Code:

libnews-article-perl - Perl modules for manipulating Usenet articles
wmmemload - Überwachung von Speicher- und Swapnutzung für das WindowMaker-Dock
libpve-storage-perl - Proxmox VE storage management library
pve-headers-2.6.18-2-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Headers

pve-qemu-kvm - Full virtualization on x86 hardware
pve-kernel-2.6.32-2-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Image
pve-kernel-2.6.32-4-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Image
pve-manager - The Proxmox Virtul Environment
pve-headers-2.6.24-12-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Headers
pve-kernel-2.6.32-3-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Image
pve-qemu-kvm-2.6.18 - Full virtualization on x86 hardware
pve-headers-2.6.18-3-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Headers
pve-kernel-2.6.24-12-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Image
pve-kernel-2.6.18-2-pve - The Proxmox PVE Kernel Image

How looks your /etc/apt/sources.list?
Do you have done an "apt-get update" before?

Udo

Udo, thank you.

Today I tried it again - just so, and the update/install worked just fine.

Thanx again,

Joachim
