Hello.

We we try to run apt-get dist-upgrade we are getting the following errors:

root@vps7:~# apt-get dist-upgrade

I have no idea how I am best to proceed.

are you root?
 
Ok to follow up it seems to be the pve-cluster package which is the issue:

root@vps7:/var/log# /etc/init.d/pve-cluster restart

[....] Restarting pve-cluster (via systemctl): pve-cluster.serviceFailed to restart pve-cluster.service: Operation not permitted

failed!

Are you able to re-install this?
