I searched in the Forum for people with the same problem and so i checked sources.list and /etc/resolv.conf. My Nameserver is my Pi-Hole IP and in etc/apt/sources.list is following:

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian bookworm main contrib

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates main contrib

# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org bookworm-security main contrib

deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve bookworm pve-no-subscription

When i try to ping a website like google it works. But when i try to dig @176.9.93.198 ftp.debian.org i get following:

;; communications error to 176.9.93.198#53: timed out
;; communications error to 176.9.93.198#53: timed out
;; communications error to 176.9.93.198#53: timed out

; <<>> DiG 9.18.19-1~deb12u1-Debian <<>> @176.9.93.198 ftp.debian.org
; (1 server found)
;; global options: +cmd
;; no servers could be reached

At this point i could need some help to find a solution for my Problem. Hope you guys have some ideas for me what i can do.

Best regards

You have basic network connectivity issue. The errors are indicating that the requests are timing out.
Start with standard troubleshooting:
review your IP configuration (cat /etc/network/interfaces, ip a, ip route, cat /etc/resolv.conf)
compare the output of resolv.conf to the IP you are trying to use with dig
replace DNS with known google 8.8.8.8
if you are using a custom dns/firewall between PVE and outside world - review those settings, try without one

In summary, try to reduce complexity of your network and then build it up until you determine the cause. The errors are not at Hypervisor (PVE) level, but rather at OS tcp/ip.

good luck
