update a cluster of Proxmox

Hi!

I have a cluster of Proxmox 2.1 with 7 nodes and aprox 60 virtual servers both vm and ct clients. I plan to update to the latest 3.x release (with comercial support) My question is: Is it possible to add a 3.x node to the same cluster as the rest of the old ones and them move vm and ct clients from one of the old nodes to the new node.

To clarify can a 3.x node coexist in a 2.1 cluster.

yes, you can do it like this.

you just need to use the gui of the more recent node (3.x).
