Unstall Proxmox

I have an Intel Nuc and I want to uninstall proxmox, to install ubuntu or Debian.
Do I have to do it from the command line or from the bios?

Uninstalling does not make sense with an operating system. You simply overwrite it with another operating system. You can wipe the disk drive first if you want, with something like GParted Live or using gdisk on the Proxmxo console to erase the partitioning. But that can also be done from within the installers of Ubuntu or Debian.

Uninstalling does not make sense with an operating system

Especially in this case, as Proxmox is Debian.

In case you are happy with the partitioning of your disks, you can remove Proxmox by
$ sudo apt remove proxmox-ve

Depending on where you'd like to go from here, you can install the other packages you need.

If you have an SSD and really want to clear everything, you can always run blkdiscard on your blockdevice in order to really clear (not wipe) everything. This could be your last action on your PVE install or just run it in the install medium of your next Os (except windows of course ... they don't have that possibility).
