Unrecognized network adapter Intel i350

Hello,
this weekend I set up a new proxmox instance on an IBM SystemX server with Intel i350 network adapter.

Unfortunately I only get one port of the network card to work as expected (it is named "rename2" in the GUI).
The other port is not working and recognized as "eno1".

I think I am missing something, does anybody know how to solve this?

Hi,

is this an original Intel i350 or an IBM derivate?
Generall this card works perfectly out of the box.

If this is an IBM one please check for firmware updates.

It is a Lenovo server, I think it's a Lenovo derivate.
I am trying to update system firmware now, I will let you know the results

Even after the firmware update, one of the network adapters are recognized as "rename2"
Manually editing the /etc/network/interfaces file to set up the bonding works, so it's only a matter of naming

Could it be something related to this issue?

This bug report is from 4.4 and 4.6 kernel.
PVE use an 4.15 now.
Anyway, we use hear original Intel i350 cards and can't see this behavior.

At home, I got a problem on PVE with a 4 port i350 intel card but it was a bios bug and was solved with a new bios version.
