Hello,

I have an LSI HBA installed and would like to use the 2 x 1TB SSDs and 3 x 8TB HDDs. I followed a tutorial and added the drives to the VM but the HDDs are not visible in Unraid. Do I need to initialize the HDDs?

I am having the same exact issue, I was able to pass through my Avago LSI card and the 12 volumes attached there are visible but the two SSD's that are my cache drives are not visible in Unraid despite my best efforts to do so. I have tried the method outlined here, but it did not work. Below is my config, incase it helps ...

Code:
root@pve:~# cat /etc/pve/qemu-server/100.conf

I never resolved this issue although I suspect it might've been my HBA. I ended up installing Unraid on my QNAP. I want to sell my QNAP so may have to come back to this problem but I did purchase another HBA. I read on other forums that Proxmox passthrough has issues.

I use "LSI MegaRAID SAS 2008" ,in that Web GUI can view real hdd model is "TOSHIBA_MG06ACA8"

Can you switch another SCSI Controller to test unraid VM?

I've got the same issue with a new install of Proxmox 8, Non of the disks I have passed through with the scsiX: are visable in unraid.

lsblk does not see any of the drives.
