Net+ student here, I've just turned my laptop into a proxmox server. Totally thought it was going to be a dual boot situation but found my "AHA moment" instead LOL.
Now, I plan on utilizing for some labs, however, when the time comes I want to go back to being able to be mobile and use laptop and run Kali distro on it. So my question is how do you remove proxmox? I attempted an iso on usb to see and took me to "proxVE, pve login:" and tried again using f9 to bring up boot order and specified usb thumb drive= "proxVE, pve login:" screen.

Appreciate any input!
Thanks.

"Uninstalling" an OS is simply overwriting it with a new one. If you couldn't boot from your USB drive, maybe you didn't flash it correctly? Balena Etcher is a user-friendly (if slightly bloated) tool to do so correctly. How did you install PVE, that procedure should work again?

Yes, uninstalling was a poor choice of words there lol. I used two different thumb drives and tried kali and ubuntu. Thank you for the link, I will try this out.
