Hey everyone,

I have just started the Proxmox Install and was asked if want to Install GUI or Terminal. I am installing Proxmox on a server that will be in a remote location from me most of the time and that I only want to acess over ssh and th GUI Webinterface. If Install the terminal Version, does this mean I wont have access to the web GUI or should I install the terminal version so I can more easily do everything remotley ?

Thanks everyone

Hi!

No, the terminal version just means that the installer itself won't use a graphical interface, but a terminal UI basically. The installed Proxmox VE will always feature both the web GUI and remote access through SSH if you need it.

Best regards
