¿How come when I delete an backup i do not get more free space?

As far I an know, backup data in PBS is stored in "/mnt/datastore/<whatevername>/.chunks"

1) Size pre-deleting a backup of "/mnt/datastore/<whatevername>" du -sh -> 150M
2) I delete the LXC backup
3) Size post-deleting a backup of "/mnt/datastore/<whatevername>" du -sh -> 150M

Shouldn't .chunks have to be gone and the directory be reduced in size?

And there needs to be 24 hours and 5 minutes between the prune/delete and the GC or those chunks won't be deleted by the GC.

it depends if you have mounted your backup repo with or without relatime. typically, relatime is active, because that saves a lot of write access
