Unable to take snapshot of VM

Hello,

I'm running VE 4.4-1/eb2d6f1e and I've found that I can't take a snapshot of one of my VMs. I've found the reason and it's because I'm passing through a Hard Drive. If I turn off the VM and remove the pass through I can make a snapshot then would have to add the hardware back into my config file.

However I've found with that same VM I can do a backup of it using the snapshot mode with the hardware pass through and it seems to run it's course.

Could this be something that might be solved in the next version?

A backup always works, as this is inside QEMU.

A VM snapshot work only if the underlying storage support it - which is not the case in your setup so this will never work by design.
