What are you doing?! Installing webmin is not supported, and I strongly suggest that you reinstall you mail gateway from scratch. Else updates via service-packs will not work any longer (and maybe other things).

Back to the password problem. What browser do you use? What encoding does your browser use by default? Is it possible to get a login to that installation?

please do this again (change password via ssh) not using any special character - maybe there is an issue with your keyboard settings or encoding together with the mail gateway.

as it worked before, just use the same characters.

better?

i restored the vzdump all working fine now
thanks :)

thanks for feedback. we have a hotfix addressing this.

now, the web interface does not allow to use non-ascii characters for passwords anymore. (if want to get this hotfix, email to support(at)proxmox.com)
