So I know there are probably a million topics on this but I am having a helluva time trying to get in to manage the installation of my environment.
I have an Asrock Rack ROMED4ID-2T mobo that I have setup for running my VMs which has an IPMI interface and two additional ethernet jacks.
After setting up the Proxmox GUI it is now running on 192.168.100.x while the majority of my home network is on 192.168.1.x
and here is where I am stuck.
I tried to see if the second ethernet jack is enabled as I thought this is where the ProxMox gui is running but based on interface output in the CLI that does not seem to be the case.
So at this point I am a bit lost, I am not sure if it is a config issue with my server, or if it is something on my router that is causing issues.
I am using a Mikrotik CRS317-1G as my main router and I have the ProxMox address added into a second bridge which has a static address assigned for the GUI IP and I created firewall rules to allow back and forth traffic from my home network to the ProxMox one and back. But thus far with no luck.
I think a part of the issue is that it seems like the ProxMox mgmt gui is running on my server's IPMI interface?
Let me know what info I need to send but definitely in over my head before I have even gotten started thus far.
